In Lima, pet ownership is compulsory to register them in the Municipality of Lima, and have a permit, put a plate with their data, registration number, name and phone number of the owner. They must carry them with a necklace and a strap on the street to control them.
If you travel with your dog from outside Peru, you must request these certificates, but 10 days before the trip. Veterinary certificate (animal health, vaccination, deworming). Export Certificate (certifies that the animal is fit and meets the health requirements of both countries) If you go from Spain to Peru this is the form to fill out
